The Luminosity Youth Summit, now in its second decade of inspiring young people, is the brainchild of Kate Wood-Foye, our guest speaker for 1 May. This annual event is a dynamic national two day forum which encourages young people to explore dangerous ideas for success. Held at Port Macquarie’s Glasshouse venue, the event ignites creativity, excellence and entrepreneurship and fosters purpose and well-being amongst young people from within our wider region and aged 15 – 25.

Kate and her crew of Lumo volunteers bring high profile presenters and local business leaders from across Australia and the world to engage young attendees in keynotes, workshops, presentations, masterclasses and interactive sessions. Kate, originally from Taree, also brings her boundless energy and creative ideas to her role of Director, External Engagement, based at Charles Sturt University Campus in Port Macquarie. Be prepared to be excited and stimulated when you find out what will be happening in July this year at the 2025 Luminosity Youth Summit.
